Moving on, we have two vastly improved photography champs that make G3 and G Flex 2’s 13/2.1 MP cam duos look ridiculous. Namely, a highly gifted 16 megapixel shooter on the fresh spearhead’s posterior, endowed with phase detection, laser autofocus, an enhanced optical image stabilization system, dual-LED flash and ultra-wide F1.8 aperture for cutting-edge low-light performance.

Looks like LG G Flex 2 's camera has lower MP, no phase detection and smaller aperture compared to LG G4 ?

Oh, Ok thanks.

Someone previously said 3GB for the LG G Flex2.

But I think 2GB is good enough for current use.

Sony Z3 is 3GB, Samsung S4 is 2GB.

Last time they compare, said Samsung usage quite smooth, while Sony got some lag. Maybe is due to the interface instead. Haha.

Is there a big difference between DDR3 and DDR4 ?
2GB DDR4 in LG G Flex 2 is faster than 3GB DDR3 ?

The keywords for taking photos used are Cheese, Smile, Whiskey, Kimchi and LG

SHe used palm and fist for selfie.

LGGFlex2 people will say what the flex as it is flexible bendable great for selfie

Screen powered with a Plastic-OLED or P-OLED back with Self-healing technology

Camera empowered with Laser-guided autofocus, OIS+ Camera, Gesture Shot, Gesture View and Knock Code

I prefer if they used something more cheesy for the keywords

he LG Gflex2 hotcurves is available in Platinum Silver and Flamenco Red

From the website:
With no side buttons interrupting its design, the curved form factor of the G Flex2 is both easy to hold and intuitive to operate.

The uniquely curved 5.5 Full HD Display delivers more immersive and lifelike viewing experience. The curved display phone creates optimal viewing angles to minimize glare and reflections.

Always look your best with instant Self Healing Technology that naturally fixes scratches and blemishes to help your G Flex2 maintain its timeless look.

Capture photographer quality shots with LG’s superior OIS+ that steadies every shot for sharp focused images. And with Touch & Shoot you can touch anywhere on the screen to capture stunning images in an instant.

GESTURE SHOT & GESTURE VIEW

- No more stretching out your arm and struggling to press the shutter button. Take a better selfie without pushing any buttons by making a simple hand gesture.

- Instantly see your latest selfie creation as the Gesture View feature opens your photo gallery as soon as you lower your G Flex2 camera from position

Find the power you demand to multitask at blazing speeds with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with (integrated) 64-bit Octa-Core CPU and today’s latest Android OS.

Spend less time charging and more time doing what you love with accelerated charging that refuels 50% of the battery in about 30 minutes.

Conserve battery power and time with Glance View. Check the time and other notifications while the screen is off simply by dragging down on any part of the screen.

Check out the smartphone options offer a wide range of features, such as 3D technology, Wi-Fi Hotspot, IPS displays and more

But if root to android stock, can we still use the features in LG G Flex 2 ?
Like knock code, OIS+, laser auto focus, gesture shot and view.

Can we just uninstall the unnecessary apps ?

Another review:

Our Verdict

LG's G Flex 2 is the company's second attempt at making a curved, flexible smartphone, and it's like the first try with properly bumped-up specs and a more manageable 5.5-inch screen.

For

Smaller 5.5 inch display
Flexible and durable build
Speedy Snapdragon 810 chip
Improved camera features
Android 5.0 Lollipop

Against

Inconsistent CPU speeds
Battery not swappable
Curve still doesn't add much
Easily scratched self-healing back
Pricier than LG's flagship

Seems like people prefer a smaller phone. The LG G Flex was 6 inch, Flex 2 only 5.5 inch.

nowadays flagship phone like LG G flex 2 camera wont worst until where

I thought LG's flagship phone is G4 ?

The rear camera in the LG G Flex 2 is OK at 13MP , but the front facing selfie camera is only 2.1MP.
Does the selfie camera also have OIS+ and laser auto focus?

If people buy extra battery for the LG G Flex 2, they can just swap the battery to a fully charged one, no need to use power bank to charge which takes time.

Ya the self healing back failed their test.

Lol, maybe I am used to bad battery life for nexus phones and think 1 charge a day is ok based on my usage and I dun like carry powerbank around. so swappable or not, not a dealbreaker.

LG G Flex 2 vs LG G Flex – Screen
LG G Flex 2: 5.5-inch POLED display
LG G Flex: 6-inch 720pHD POLED display

Screen quality was one of the most disappointing aspects of the G Flex. Spreading a 720p HD resolution across such a big display didn't work. LG has moved to a Full HD display, which is big improvement, although it's not a 2K display like the G3's.

It’s sticking with the same plastic OLED display technology, so you can expect improved contrast and black levels now that there’s a higher resolution to play with. The pixel density is up from a 245ppi to an iPhone 6 Plus-beating 403ppi, so for sharpness it's night and day between the two Flex phones.

Seems like the screen in G Flex 2 is much improved compared to G Flex.
