My very first time to Taiwan so I want to ask what other food that you brought back to Singapore from Taiwan beside sun biscuit and pineapple cake. I am going to Taiwan end of this month. I am planning for gifts.

Where to find the famous sun biscuit and pineapple cake shop? I saw some blogs talking about it but can't seem to find the name.

Been to Chia Te, their sun biscuit and milk biscuit and pineapple tarts very nice. Think trip advisor they are ranked top 10 foods in taiwan :) Took a train to SYS Memorial Hall station. Took bus from Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall and then take bus 204 alight at the third stop. Or you can walk from SYS Memorial hall train station 15 minutes to their bakery.

Been there around 9.30am not much people. else heard later time go will queue very long.

Singapore imports some award winning almond powder from taiwan if I'm not wrong. Some yuan hao brand or something.

Taiwanese honey at china town lim hwang miao, there are a few shops along there that sell them iirc.

As for almond powder, I usually get them from almond milk singapore (almondmilksingapore dot com) as they do free delivery and the almond drink they sell is delicious
