Going to Philippines for a wedding, this will be my 1st time to the Philippines. I believe this will be my 1st and last time there, decided to go boracay for a few days before going to Manila for the wedding. Already book shangri-la resort for boracay, just going to nua there.

The question is, what to do in Manila? Anything that is a must do? And no, not eating balut.

Yes many things to do. If this is your first time make sure you visit the BGC area. Some famous places to go include the intramuros and Chinatown. Many night eating spots with live singing solid with San Miguel beer.

Visit the trump towers (yes there is one in Manila) and the atas century city medical center nearby (e.g., teeth scaling polishing at sgd $25 by US trained dentist). Many big malls in green belt if you are into shopping. Remember to eat pork knuckles.

within manila, but nearby scenic areas need to drive out, like baguio and taygaytay.

if you like gambling can go casino play poker. concerts are cheap, see if any performance during your stay.

a few lupsup places but entry fee not worth.

Try their Spanish influence Philippines cuisine. I had one at makati area, can't remember the restaurant name, their beef was really delicious! Remember to eat lechon too.

You will regret going to Boracay. Need to take plane, ferry, jeep, and taxi. Good luck
