Guys im going to taipei for 8days for wedding shoot from Sunday to Sunday.
I decided to take two days out and travel to Taichung.

Will be taking the Tze Chiang Train to Taichung for around $28.30.
I know its expensive but it seem to travel faster and there's reserve seat.
Will be staying either at Cityinn hotel plus which is near the station or Le Park hotel which is near Fengjia NM.

Most likely we would be visiting the 妖怪村 follow by FengJia NM.

Other then this two places in Taichung, are there any shopping paradise or theme resturant i should visit?
I plan to go there in the morning n stay overnight. Should we just leave the next day or should i spend another day till late evening before i take the train back to Taipei.

Thanks

I went to Taiwan for my wedding photoshoot back in September this year.

I went to Kaohsiung for my shoot and after the shoot, I went to Tai Chung for my own holidays with my wife to be.

Basically, Tai Chung city itself, there's nothing much, except for some themed restaurant and of course their famous Sun Cakes stores.

BUT, Tai Chung is often the 'port' to many other attractions such as Cing Jing Farm, Sun Moon Lake etc.

I drove in Tai Chung but do note that it is left hand drive, so drive only if you are comfortable and confident.

If not, you may also hire driver to bring you to these places as well.

I know where are thenice sun cakes, themed restaurants and also discovered one traditional Taiwanese Mo Chi shop too. I also have my car rental contact if you want.

PM me for more information.

I was at Tai Chung for a few days, visited the night market, and making my way to Cing Jing... wanted to do Hualien, but realised it' time consuming.
