What will you do if you have 30K/50K to save? Fixed Deposit, Invest?

Really a broad question
Something you can consider
- settle existing loans
- Invest in SGS bonds

Still unsure
- call an insurance agent for some ideas
- go to a bank, their reps can have a coffee with you

Don't take advise from salesman aka agents. You can clarify what their products do but research further online.

The last thing I'd do is to go talk to an insurance agent or a bank rep for investment advice. The more they sell to you, the more commission they earn.

Investment can be of any form. Do not need to be real estate, shares, bonds, Fixed Deposit.

Invest in something that you are confident with enough knowledge. If your hobby is in action figures and you know there is a market value for it, why not invest in it?

Same goes to stuff like Comics, watches, trading cards or anything of your own interest or hobby.

Investment would be a better option but risks are there.

If FD, might as well put it in CPF as interest rates are higher and can be used for tax rebates.

That's an impossible question to answer wisely without more information, including especially what other savings and investments (if any) you have already.
