I have 3 seagate sata HDD
Currently running Palit GTX 560 TI (wow it last me for many years...)

You have already got yourself a GTX 970, the GTX 970 is good enough to play Dragon Age Inquisition at max settings in 1080p. Just install your upgrades and play your game.

1) As long as your mobo has a PCI-E X16 slot, you can use any GPU in the market with your mobo, including your GTX 970. There will be minimal performance loss from using a PCI-E 3.0 GPU with a PCI-E 2.0 slot anyway, so just use your GTX 970 with your mobo.

2) Can also just use the 3GB/s SATA 2 ports with your SSD, doesn't matter if your mobo does not have the 6GB/s SATA 3 ports, SATA techonology is reverse compatible, can use SATA 3 SSD with SATA 2 port, at most the SATA 2 port bottleneck the speed of your SSD only, but then your SSD will still be faster than your HDDs anyway, so there is nothing to lose sleep about.
