What to upgrade???

Its for mild gaming at prob high to ultra.

But recently, Watch Dogs 2 start to lag even on high settings. FPS can drop to 20 to 30+. But BF1 runs fine on ultra settings with constant 60fps.

Still trying to figure out what is wrong.

I just changed to the 1060 though. So wondering what else can i do?

I have a 120gb SSD which was meant to be for my laptop but took it out..question is, how do i erase the ssd and then transer e OS n essential programs to it?

so when u are playing watch dog 2 with GTX 1060 with high setting and u cant get high fps on it and lag as well?

maybe u wait for the game patch with some settings? or reinstall the game and see?

easeUS should have that function to wipe your disk

and transfer wise if u are using samsung SSD den can download the samsung magicians to help u transfer...other programs u might need to source it or wait for others to tesll u.

Yeap. Turned vsync on to lock in at 60fps. But still lags intermittently. Been playing ard w all e settings. Even use geforce exp to optimise. But still stutters at some point. Wonder does it have to do w any backgrd programs running?

One possibility is that you click on nvidia's optimize, they change to DSR upscaling to some other higher resolution, causing your graphics card not to be able to sustain the 60fps.

My 1060 is lagging on bioshock infinite too on ultra and sometimes on very high .

Check nvidia settings to make sure its using your gpu and not the onboard gpu.

You cannot set the graphics card on NVCP unless you're using a laptop running nvidia optimus. So I don't think this is the issue. Desktops do not run optimus. Optimus tech works by routing all outputs of both the integrated and discrete GPU through the intel HD which makes the switching possible.

Thts what i thought so too. Cos Geforce Experience shows 1060 as the gpu
