Ppl exploit business tio govt crackdown but when business exploit ppl like corporate greed that’s causing price hike / inflation, the gov just ignore.

Based on my understanding, govt will go after the suppliers.
It is like chewing gum, it is not illegal to use the item , but it is illegal to sell.

I remember reading about some people kenna sued by the TV company directly for watching such shows via the Internet.
They got a court order to force the ISP to reveal the identities of those IP addresses who watched the illegal shows .
It was some time ago so I can’t find the article again .
But that is the risk faced by consumers .
