Why sometimes I can't type anything text. Then I have to completely exit and reopen.

Does that mean it is hang?

i think it's a bug.

i encountered a few times b4 too .. kinda of irritating sia ... have to quit the app and go in again .. the keyboard just dun appear ...

but after the recent WhatsApp update .. like dun have olreadi ..

Been having this problem since day 1 received my iphone6+, thought something wrong with my phone till my friend having iphone 6 experiencing same issue.

As and when still having this problem, even after various updates of firmware and apps.

My problem is with photos. Send from gallery or from camera always error. Must go directly to camera roll, select pic and then send via whatsapp option then work.
But then the pic will appear blank on chat screen but ok in the chat media screen

Well, either quit and enter, or you go to another chat window, press in the text entry box, then go back to the other chat again, should be able to enter.

Encountered this a few times.

I think it is compatibility issues with third party keyboards. just double click home button to shut down the app and relaunch
