whats the difference between i7 12 gen and i5 13 gen??

But my main issues with Intel is that you need some really good cooling solution to cool it.. as the power draw is quite high... so most air cooler are out of the question unless it is those big ones..

Best is buy Ryzen 5600 or 5800 mobile processors (H or U suffix) or go for 6600 or 6800 if you can afford.

Reality is office laptops are power-constrained and cooling isn't that good, that's where Ryzen processors are much better, longer battery life.

If you buying a GAMING desktop replacement, then go for latest Intel CPUs, they are powerful if given the wattage.
