What's wrong with my iMac?

Anyone's got any ideas based on the noise?

feel v hot or not? probably the fan issue. fan is on the right side if not wrong.... else hard disk liao lo. seldom got items need to create such noise. cd drive if u have disc inside but the sound is more like click click n cannot read disc sound

how old is yr mac? with applecare u can ask them come onsite
if not, even within 1yr must bring down Zzzzzzz imagine 27"

more likely its a very dirty fan.

if hdd this sound, confirm cannot boot up. hdd clicking frequency not so fast

gd. just call them n they will send someone down. probably they will diagnose first over phone, asking u to do some test. tell them u suspect fan. they might take 1wk like that to be at yr place. like my case they will wait for the parts

also i suggest u to do a backup first. in case if unfortunately is HDD, u might need to backup. always do a backup better because my first repair, after replace HDD cannot switch on. end up bring whole iMac back. luckily that time is v new so nothing much inside.
