This folks, is one of the reasons why I never (and suggest to others) update iOS after two major new ones.

It’s like having a Windows XP computer and updating it to Windows 11 and expect no issues with software.

Try and contact WhatsApp, good luck to you!

But i will say so far majority don't have such issues? sometimes it is isolated incident.

Well I guess it’s a matter of risk appetite.

so far not been experiencing anything material
I normally wait a few days to avoid e server traffic. I did brick my 6s once long time ago updating on release day 😅

Ya that I’ll do too.

but to not update more than 2 iOS versions later I think it’s a bit on the extreme cautiousness to me

I suppose there is some of that and being cautious, the price to pay for any issues can be quite high if not.

but to spent money to fix a iphone 6s dont sound too worth it.. so i am asking around who has the same issue as me
I mean to say cash to buy a brand new iPhone (latest model).

Kudo’s to being able to keep a phone running for so long but I suggest an upgrade as it is really well worth the jump after so so many years.
