whatsapp crashing / unresponsive

anyone encounering whatsapp being unresponsive when switching over to the app or crashing every now and than?

Mine was intermittently . It sorta “hanged” when I opened it . Had to swipe up and tap in again for it to be okay. But can’t remember if this happened before or after the iOS 14.5 update though …

Also encountered can't display new stickers after tapping the "down arrow" logo to download the media to show in the chat window. Observed this only recently.

Ohhh but there was an update earlier today for WhatsApp. Till now it seems okay for me .

issue still persists for me. unlocked the phone and the app froze there momentarily

for me, occasionally, typing on kb was abit laggy

The issue did not go off after iOS 14.5

Its an app issue that needs patchimg
