Whatsapp Desktop Application: GFX Lag?

Hey guys,

I tried searching for solutions online for this but didn't manage to find any.. so I thought to try to ask you guys if you have experienced it before!

I downloaded Whatsapp on my PC. So what happens is, whenever I try to open images on WA PC, there is this huge lag/delay which causes my WA to freeze for like 5-10s. Even when I scroll up to earlier conversations that has sent pictures, the whole thing becomes super unresponsive. If I could describe how is it, it's basically when google chrome/explorer.exe suddenly hangs/freeze, then after a few seconds it "resumes".

My first thought is that it's a GFX problem, I am using GTX 750Ti with R3 2200G. But after updating the drivers, the issue still persists.

I would just like to check if you guys experienced something similar, and what can/should I do first to make sure it's a GFX issue? Thank you!!

I think the master copy is the one reside in your mobile, so everytime its checks with the server if the mobile copy exists.
Just my thoery, as once run a deep clean on mobile and all 6mnths of whatsapps image all deleted by accident, with only the text and thumbnails left...
