Doesn't matter which you prefer, it's what the majority are using that matters.

Whatsapp is much better than wechat.
You don't hv to search for your fren's contacts on whatsapp, you need to know someone's contacts or id while you are using wechat.
No notifications on wechat also.
Most of my frens stick on to whatsapp.

One thing I like about Telegram is that I'm able to send SMS from my PC or Mac, can copy & paste stuffs from the PC instead of doing everything on the small phone / tablet screen.

They even have a portable version (no installation required).

Started to use telegram recently, but not many friends using it. Takes time to influence them to change.

yeap, u can download the portable version and bring it with you anywhere u go

https://tdesktop.com/

u just made me waste a few minutes - downloading, n setting up telegram.

i tried already la. simi can "send SMS."

u sure u know the difference? texting someone via the same app is not SMS

SMS is via your carrier.
iMessage can SMS text forward. I can send/receive SMS via my MacBook Air via Message app. [I cldnt do the same with telegram]
