Whatsapp, iOS7 or iPhone 5S issue?

Video sending to myself on 5S or from another 5 to 5S

All good .. no such grey thing ... try a different video as well, maybe the format is such that Whatsapp compression is spoiling it

thanks.. that more or less confirms it's a hardware issue for me
last thing i can try is to do a complete restore and see if it helps

okay so i went QCD after all..
discussed over an hour in total to the customer service as well as the technician

they were adamant that it was not 5S hardware issue and had no test set to try it out

Long story short was that there were also unable to isolate the issue such that it was conclusively caused by iOS7 nor by Whatsapp

so they relented and let me do an exchange
in the end.. i was able to reproduce the grey videos again!!

unless the odds of 2 brand new iPhone 5S having same hardware issue are very high, i must say they could be right that it is not a 5S issue

I oso have the exact problem of grey fuzzy videos. Hmm I took a video n sent it to myself via whatsapp. Video was bto grey but it was fuzzy...


Is this a whatsapp issue???

It could b a whatsapp issue not optimised for ios7. My wife just sent me another video and this time its ok. Will monitor further.

Some of the videos received on the iOS 7 devices (iPhones 4, 4S and iPad 3) in my home are of very bad quality. Only started after the most recent update.

they are taking a surprisingly long time this time round to come up with an update

Up to the current version my sent video quality is still extremely bad. Lots of pixelation and not clear at all. Anyone else has this issue? What can be done?
