WhatsApp issue on iPhone

Using WhatsApp on my iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Sure most of you know the message yourself function. I use that function to send myself photos so i can edit/crop them before sending them out again.

Used to have no problem until recently.

After sending myself photos, whenever i try to open them, i keep getting this pop up message "Your photo will be ready to be viewed soon." and i can never open or download the photo. Anyone has this issue too?

Tried contacting whatsapp support but no help at all, and they keep pointing me to some silly FAQ which is basically useless.

Any idea how can i submit a bug report?

Same here. Every photo received is duplicated. Should be a bug. Now I'm waiting for WhatsApp update.

Hi. Anyone facing issue when sender and ourselves sent multiple photos? What I experienced is that when sender sent multiple photos, I can view but cannot click or select and they are not in my WhatsApp media/links/docs. Same goes if I’m sending multiple photos.

But if sender or myself sent individual photo, there’s no issue.

Anyone experiencing same thing?

Have you tried reinstalling the app?
Make sure data is backed up first before any reinstallation.

I didn’t uninstall the app though. Only restarted my phone and problem still exists.
