Whatsapp notification issue

Sometimes (at random) i wouldnt get pushed notifications whenever i get a msg from Whatsapp. Like i've to go into the app and then i'll be able to see there's a new msg from a contact. Is this a phone or an app issue?

Does anyone else face such issues?

Group chat? Check on your setting (inside whatsapp).. Turn on all notification..

You might have muted notifications. Check your watsapp settings!

me too .. sometimes open whatsapp den the new msg pop ins .. hmmm

Its not group chat. Individual chat. Notifications are turned on. This doesnt happen always but every 8 messages comes in one of it wont be pushed.
