5-10mins delay is good liao. Mine sometimes got 30min delay. Btw, I am using Note 2 on 4G too. Called M1 this morning and highlight this issue to them and they claim nothing wrong with their network.

:(

please try Google talk.u will see yourself signing out after 2-3 mins of inactivity. the network state HSPA:11 seems to be sending no data to note ii/s iii on m1. already been talking to their engineer since mid December when I encounter this issue.

affect everything that runs on push/ constant data.

tried with SingTel no issues.

already demo to them in all the 3 customer service centres highlighting it's not a base station issue. the staff ( not engineers) are baffled by it as well.

So are their engineer going to do anything?

Yea bro, I thought yours solved when you didn't reply on the main thread! :s13:

My problem started since Mid Dec 2012.

so for now if got WIFI, better use WIFI?

Yea, if you dowan to be blamed for not replying messages or AWOL. :o

So far reproduce this issue on...

Tab 7.7, S III, S III LTE, Note II, and just my friend's iPhone 5 is also showing this problem (Skype just keep getting sign out if she let the phone idle for more than 3 minutes) but she thought it was fine :s13:

Ups for awareness, let's bring this issue up to M1 once we have many people showing the same sign.

WiFi no issues. Even when I pop in a SingTel card it works fine right in their CSO face.

Please report back on iNO.

On the Note II/S3, so long the phone idles in HSPA:11 for 2-3 minutes, it will show that it is still connected but no data traffic between phone and their base station. On the 7.7 is HSDPA:9.

The most annoying part is email sync also got affected. :o No sync at all.......

Btw guys, changing SIM card WILL NOT HELP AT ALL...

I change from USIM - Nano SIM - Micro SIM - NFC Micro SIM, no use at all!

Eh not just M1 leh. I'm on StarHub and this has been an issue since last month. Didn't have this issue when I went HK for a week in Dec while using their telco's prepaid data sim.

So I'm pretty sure its StarHub's problem...

Note 2 lte user.

Don't take it to heart to many people who read this post.

There are tonnes of people using smartphones, but many are outsmart by their phones they don't realise potential issues (such as this issue discussed here). That's why unscrupulous service provider(s) could get away everyday thinking that those minority who report issues are trying to pull a fast one on them!

So here is what I have shown to M1 CSO.

My phone settings are Sync-On, Data On, No restriction on BG data, no power saving apps.

I leave my phone screen on time to 5minutes.

Firstly my services are signed in, surf net all ok and network is displayed as HSPAP:15. Then subsequently the network will jump into HSPA:11, with H logo when I stop using the phone. My services remained signed in in the first 1+ minutes.

Google Talk --- Barely 2 minutes when my phone is idling, I press into the app and I see myself signed out. I have got to wait 5-10s before the H kicks into H+ and I am signed in back again. If I don't press into the app, any messages I attempt to send there will not even get in

IM+ Pro, Talk. To, BeeJives --- Same error occur. On IM+ Pro and Beejives when I set it not using Push, I still get signed out.

Email Sync --- Basically as usual, sync nothing comes in even waiting for 30minutes. But if I try sending something in from another source while I am doing something on the phone I'll get it almost instantly.

WhatsApp --- Sh!t, the only way is to press in to receive your messages.

Bubble Mania, Tiny Tower, Pocket Planes --- If I let the game idle for 2-3 minutes, I'll receive a notification telling me I lost data signal. I quickly return to Home screen and realise my H is still there.

Repeat the above while using SingTel SIM card in M1 CSC, no problems.

Sorry if I have been saying H signal, even on GPRS, the supposedly most stable of all.. It is the same issue.
