Whatsapp problem

I have been having a problem with my whatsapp and I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem.

Basically, whenever I close my whatsapp (from the doubletap home button menu), all the chats in my 'chats' tab will disappear. Just disappear from the tab. My chat history is all in the phone, the chats just disappear from the tab.

For example, I'm in a chat with A. I close whatsapp, and open it, the chat with A in the 'chats' tab is missing. I start a new conversation with A, and all the previous chat history shows up.
For individual chats they're fine, but for group chats and chats with people whose number I do not have saved, it's terribly inconvenient.


So yeah, I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems and maybe has a fix for this. Many thanks!

U restore the phone by setting up a new phone. Do not restore the backup settings...

The problem maybe due to the location service. Try sending your location to someone else first
