Whatsapp with New Mobile Number

I have a new phone and whatsapp data has been moved to the new phone. I have applied for a new sim card that I intend to use in my old phone.

I have verified my whatsapp in my new phone with my current sim card. If I use the new sim card in my old phone and verify my whatsapp with the new number,

1) will that deactivate my whatsapp in my new phone, since the whatsapp account in my old phone is the same account used in the new phone?

2) will the whatsapp chat history in the old phone be removed after verification with the new sim card?

1) put it simpler, your whatsapp will work on whichever phone you activate it on.

2) should have history if you have back up properly.
