BTW hows yr experience comparing miui and s8 responsiveness of typing speed?

My miui alreadt starting to be a bit laggy when typing in gagt with Spotify playing in background.

im contemplating between mi6 and G6, i am using mi5 atm and find that mi6 was not much of design changes but on the other hand im used to miui.

G6 has the nice wide angle lens and also quad DAC and importantly IP68.

anyone care to share some light?

I tried g6... The wide angle novelty wear off after awhile. Software k found not as snappy and responsive as miui

G6 is using sd821 which isn't much an upgrade in speed over sd820 in the mi5. The mi6 using sd835 has significant speed bump over the sd821 plus it's also more efficient thus can expect better battery life.
The most important difference are the size as both are targeting different customers.

mi6 is not water resistant

techtablets did water resistant test on mi6 as there was rumours the phone is water resistant but xiaomi did not pay for IP rating test to save cost. Also numerous video by fanboys of the phone under running taps, in sink, big amount of water poured at it.

phone dead after in 20-30cm of water for 1.5 mins
