What is wrong with the camera may I ask? Planning to get a secondary phone and I am considering Mi 6.

Xiaomi ceo promised mi 6 will get the mi note 3 camera software but did not happened. Mi 6 china rom got camera optimisations but global rom did not received it.

If you go to gsm arena camera comparison, even redmi note 5 has better photo in low light than mi 6.

cheapest/best way to get Mi 6 in SG

Hi all,

May I ask what is the cheapest/best way to get Mi 6 in SG, ie. low price, reliable, warranty, etc.
I am ok with 64 GB but if 128 GB is not a lot more expensive I can go with it as well.
I have seen Lazada selling 4 GB RAM/64 GB for $458. Are these the cheapest around?

Also, any opinion on OP6 vs Mi 6 vs OP5/5T?
Am considering to get one between these 3

There's a setting for whether the screen turns on for notifications. I turn it off to conserve batt. Also so it doesn't disturb my sleep at night.

Mi 6 is a flagship phone, but it will probably receive updates slower than Redmi 6 Pro.

Just don't get Redmi 6, it is not using snapdragon (you will be frustrated).

A2 Lite only problem is that it is using Micro-USB connector, which makes A1 a more savoury choice if you find one thats new.

Xiaomi flagship line Mi series typically will receive software updates to new MIUI versions. Example, Mi 3 will be getting the latest MIUI 10 stable update despite it being almost 5 years old. Mi 5 still being supported now on Global ROMs despite China ROM development having just ceased. Good chance Mi 6 will still be good for 2 years of updates. But things may change so be prepared. But at 239 for Mi 6, can't go wrong at that price.
