Won't drop. There are more and more lower tier models to cushion the high end ones from price drops.

looking at how stocks are the moment, i'm actually expecting a price increase for the next incoming batches

Won't drop. In fact just like DRAM transitioning, price goes up when the older version supply dries up.

Also proven with Samsung 830 MLC, 840 PRO etc it will go up left with very few places (or none) carry.

the 850 250gb held it's price for nearly 1.5 year while other ssd all moving downwards

Pretty sure 750 EVO exists to set the price floor for 850 EVO or higher tier SSDs.

It isn't designed to be excellent value imo or good in stock availability. :s13:

Not using it for video editing just thought it would be cool to own one. So which is the best alternative in terms of price, performance and quality?
