Won't drop. In fact just like DRAM transitioning, price goes up when the older version supply dries up.

Also proven with Samsung 830 MLC, 840 PRO etc it will go up left with very few places (or none) carry.

Pretty sure 750 EVO exists to set the price floor for 850 EVO or higher tier SSDs.

It isn't designed to be excellent value imo or good in stock availability.
