Where to buy DVDs?

Hi guys,

Did a search and don't seem to find any answers.

Where do you recommend to buy DVDs?

I know most people would think of Poh Kim, but I have some titles in mind which Poh Kim does not sell. In case you think otherwise, I guess reason why they don't sell is because of the language and violence content for the movies I am looking for.

Bras brasah maybe have. Mustafa also has a larger than expected VCD collection for sale.

So far I only found on Amazon US, which can be quite expensive plus delivery charges. Alternate online sites or brick-and-mortar, I'm open to both.

Actually, I forgot to mention, actually Kinokuniya does sell Movie DVDs, and I do think the movie of Tarantino are available. You can check their website.

Only issue is they sell more expensive.

I searched and did find the latest movie by QT in stock, but the irony is that it has got a label on it from Poh Kim (not sure why). Went to search Poh Kim online store, and it sells for same price sans delivery charges. Will go to my nearest Poh Kim to check out.

What other titles r u looking for? Titles like True Romance and Four Rooms may be impossible to find in Singapore. These are the lesser known, more obscure Tarantino work.

For the latest Once Upon A Time in Hollywood, I went to Poh Kim just now and found it but they don't know if its uncensored... as you know his movies have expletive language which I would faint if I buy then realize language is censored

It has a sticker M18 for coarse language lol, which is an extreme understatement. Went to Jurong Point branch.

Yup, QT likes to film in ultra-wide format, 65 mm or 70 mm, but I would accept that this would be lost in DVD format, and that's ok.

Yes, Netflix is the new norm. To me, there is still a strong appeal to hold onto a physical product, like CD, DVD. I don't know if there are still shops that sell CD too. Good old days.
