Hi,
I will like to enquire some stuffs.
I just sign up for M1 fiber broadband. I will like to place my modem and router in my bedroom but my opennet box is in living room.
I know by buying a long fiber cable will solve the problem but M1 CSO claim that it will lose some signal strength.
May i know if it is true?

few of my frs and i try out 15m and 10m , nothing affects the signal loss between ONT to TP. so far so good. has been using for more than 4 mths already

I bought from the new source.
Many people warned for the fragility of the cable so i bought 2 x 10m.
Quality of cable pretty good although i entangled the cable few times during trunking. Overall, i had seven 90% bends but performance still good!

Now, i got a extra 10m to sell off, who want to buy? Self collect,
10m cost - S$18. Self collect @ Tampines/Pasir Ris.

Thank you to those who posted. It was plain nightmare to try and get help from Starhub or Opennet ... no one could help and simply pushed me to the other party. I simply wanted to know how to replace the damaged cable asap... happy to pay for it but no one could help me.... hence i googled and found this thread ...

Found them in Sim Lim Tower #01-56 ASK Enterprises .... $18 for 3 m and $22 for 5m and so on ...... its exactly the same
