Hi fellow HWZers,

I've been looking high and low for shorts that fit my description! Anybody knows of them? These are some pictures:

Preferably the material is chino type, so no need for a lot of ironing. I've bought several, most from Bugis Street but their quality is bad ($18-$25), for e.g. it is very crumpled after washing/still crumpled after ironing, too long/wide/bad sizing.

What I'm looking for is something like the pictures, skin fitting type and short. Probably 2-3 inches up the knee, and around $50? Anyone? :)

P.S. I'm skinny! My waist is around 28" so this is almost always a problem when buying shorts! Therefore I don't buy those big and flare-y ones.

The reason is because I'm afraid it might not fit me. Then I'll have to send it back/bring for alteration and all.. plus it takes time. I'm quite skinny, 28" for waist so yeah. Anyway thanks for your recommendation bro, I'll go down and have a look!

Try uniqlo? :s22:

I don't think Uniqlo have them, do they? I'm quite a skinny guy so I'm afraid I can't fit into them. But I might go down and have a look, thanks a lot!

I just checked Uniqlo's website, there's very little!

Anyway, just to add on to OP, I would like something simple, no design is the best, just plain colour!

I went down to H&M ytd.. for the shorts which are more 'sturdy' they have like only 2 colours, whereas those crumpled crumpled one a lot..

TS, we have a similiar taste. i also liked the

image1xl.jpg

but I didn't order it as I was afraid it doesn't fit (i heard sometimes their size 28' is like 30'). I'm also waist 28'. ASOS also has a big problem with sufficient stock for size 28' too. All those shorts that I fancied did not have size 28.

Back to the main topic, I usually get my shorts at topman, good quality and nice cutting. I recently got a pair from flesh imp as well. ;) Really fitting and nice cutting as well!

EDIT: i would also like to add that H&M small size doesnt fit and the quality quite cui. Uniqlo I dont like the texture and quality as well.

Haha yeah! I like shorts that are minimalistic, best is little to no design. I have never ordered shorts from ASOS before but I'm quite confused with their sizing too. Yeah there is always a shortage on size 28.

For me, H&M shorts are kind of like rubbish. They do have the $17.90 one but it's perpetually crumpled no matter how you iron it. And it's too thin and flare-y too. Same goes for Uniqlo, maybe not so much on the quality but more of the cutting/colours. The best for me would be skin-tight and above knee-length 2-3 inches.

Just checked Flesh Imp's website, they don't seem to offer a wide range of colours though. Maybe they do offer more in their physical shop. For Topman, I have browse through their online one but nothing catches my eye. Shall take a look one day though, thank you!

It's such a pain buying shorts when you're size 28!
