where to get SSD now ?

[taquito]

Hi I have not been in touch with SSD prices for a long time, intending to purchase 256-500gb SSD, any recommendations on where to get those for the best value for money? Thanks.

Qoo10 u wait for Transcend 340 256GB for $149 lowest price...

If its 250gb, can search for samsung 250gb evo at $165 at qoo10. Sold by videopro from sls. Buy and choose self collect. This is the closest u can get compared to amazon. As for 500gb, local prices nt attractive yet. Amazon prices oso nt yet attractive.

Your best value for money SSDs now are probably the Crucial MX100 series SSDs, They cost about $113 for the 128GB model and $163 for the 256GB model, and the performance isn't too bad either.

MX100 128GB - $105 | 256GB - $155

Where to get $155 for 256GB?

I just bought a 512gb Crucial MX100 for $260SGD from Amazon. Reach me within one week free shipping. The 512gb version is quite a bit faster the the 256gb version, though in real life you probably cannot tell the difference even to the 128gb version.

But you have to bear RMA cost to USA, but at that price its worth the risk for me.

nice pricing ... almost always missed all the goldbox deals. hope the mx100 is not one of them ...
