You are not comparing apple to apple.

1 bespoke shirt can cost 4 times of G2000 with spare change. For 5 shirts, that's 20 pieces from G2000.

And why are you referring to their cheaper line? Their premium line is much better and isn't the printed and are 1 ply cotton. That should be enough for the average working adult, much less an intern.

You have to base your recommendations on the person seeking advise. An intern wearing bespoke shirts isn't unheard of, but most people would find it foolish to pay an arm and foot for clothing when you are just an intern.

exactly. what's more this is a general tailoring thread and not a high-end bespoke discussion.

i had gone through the 1st 20 pages on this thread and i had understand that most "mates" stated that Eric @ personality is not bad price and quality wise! approximately 60-70 per shirt.
And i'm getting my new jobs on 13feb, which is 10 more days to go.
my budget is:
60-70 for shirt
pants 70-100

hopefully bro here can recommend me a good tailor which provide good quality and with my prices range.

please help.

one stupid qn:

when you request to taper a pair of pants/jeans, does the tailor taper all the way from waist down to the end?

if so, averagely how much it costs?

Just did a shirt at Dreamland. Will post pictures when I collect. Amy wasn't free to do the measurements for me. Her assistant (Sharon? I believe?) did the measuring. First time doing a tailored shirt so i can't comment if it was good/bad. But it felt professional enough for me. Taking multiple measurements at one area and asking alot of questions (Ie, is the shirt worn tucked in/out, what watch would i be wearing, type of fit).

Total up 3000 different fabric? TROLOLOL WTF. Yeah there are floral selection too. You should visit him and get to know his fabric. Mainly Japanese and Italian fabric. most tailors need at least 2 weeks to do a shirt. and from my experience, you're very lucky if they get it right the first time.

This budget I think you try men's tradition bah or Newcastle. But do take note what you pay is what you get.

i like plain well fitting mtm shirts, without bright ostentatious trimmings. 2 ply 100% egyptian cotton shirts are a great deal at $50++ from those factories.

Hmmmm.. anyone hear before of taillour.com? It is basically a website that allows you to shop for tailored shirts online. Price is between $80 - $100 SGD.

For consideration.
