Ah, you're the one on the fb. Based on your in-the-wild shots, you might wanna consider more width in the chest, those lapels are starting to gape and they're tugging the quarters close. Refer to alignment of the checks, no longer horizontally flush.

Beautiful 2 suits!

Did you have any idea what you were going to make before your commisioned the suits of you went there with an open mind and kevin recommended it to you?

Because they seem to suit you perfectly

That was actually insta-grammed so the colours back then was rather off. This is the actual colour.

I'm looking forward to their new book so I can commission another one from Kev.

Hi guys, I am looking to do a suit for business use, budget about $500+. Based on my budget, I have seen Sze Sze being recommended in this forum for suits and my colleague has recommended Kim Aik Tailoring to me.

Has anyone tried both tailors? Which one do you prefer or recommend?

Speaking of textures.

Long overdue shot back from my trip in Tokyo.

But here's a close up of Kevin's work and the texture of Drapers.

Was quite interesting to wear it there.:)

Love the speckled 'donegal-esque' linen.

Just bring it to any alteration store and it can be done. Clancy or Tets. I recommend both of them for minor alterations. Clancy is pricier thou.:)

Yea,that's me. It's fine though. Kevin fitted me for a final time before I took it over to Tokyo.

The real reality of it was that it was incredibly crap to shoot in winter, plus I was lugging a crap load of equipment around and choosing spots. I just didn't adjust it properly.

Just for laughs. A behind the scenes photo of sad me trolleying my gear in winter. :D

This color is much nicer, you don't see it often. :)

Really bold.. ;) And I'm loving the leather buttons. :D

U are a bold dresser man!

Bro, Love'em shoes.....Sweet........

Thanks mates, We only live once, so why not make things a little more fun? Life's short.

I notice you like wearing the rabbit lapel pin. Any relation to KS 's emblem?

Safari suits are dangerous territory, you might be thrown into the pit of hungry dogs for wearing the suits of the great leader.

That pair of shoes is so next next level. Must have been turning heads in Tokyo.

I had a couple of other lapel pins with me, but I figured, since I was wearing most of kevin's stuff, might as well just wear the lapel pin in homage to his emblem.

The intention was to actually style a more military concept for this particular suit. i really enjoyed wearing it there and getting a couple of compliments from the Japanese on it.

The boots are amazing. Here's another shot of them that i took at the Imperial Gardens.

Brift-H did an incredible job shining them afterwards.

Triste is one sharp dresser. The shoes and the pants are the dope.

However i am not sure a blue shirt is best for this outfit.

Same sentiments as you actually. Probably not the best choice. I will commission a couple more shirts after the CNY.

Love the speckled 'donegal-esque' linen.

It was love at first sight for me really.:)

Actually I had an idea on what sort of material I liked and picked them out. Kevin made a couple of suggestions, I liked them and I went for it.

It is true as some fellow gentlemen have correctly pointed out here, that it is crucial to have a good working relationship with your tailor and like what they are doing. I liked the way Kevin pushed the envelope on certain boundaries and I figured why not just try.

Not everyone will click with him, I'll agree on that. But so far so good on my stuff with him.

Guys, do you know of any place where I can get a cheap 60's style blazer made? I need it for a themed photoshoot.

Hi guys, is it possible to be in business smart by wearing jeans with a jacket over it?

Trying to wear that for weekends instead of formal pants.

Abit confused. What exactly is the occasion and required dress code?

Do you mean that you are on business that stretches over the weekend and seeking advice for appropriate dress code specifically when at work over the weekend (i.e. sat and sun)?

That would be known as smart casual.

Strictly speaking, i believe jeans will not fit any dress code that includes the word "business"

However in real world espec sg, "business" dress code is entirely dependent on your industry and company standards.

Quite common to see jeans allowed in daily dress code for SMEs.

Yes, jeans usually is casual.

I'm trying to get something business casual.

I do conduct client meetings on weekends. Trying to avoid wearing more pants than usual. Maybe I'll go with chinos if jeans are too casual.

jacket + jeans is fine. Just make sure the jeans is those mono tone, non fading, and please, no torn kneels kind. :p

I think what is acceptable depends on many factors including as mentioned, your industry and company standard. Where are you meeting your client? What do your colleagues wear (if it's a team thing). What do your clients themselves usually wear?

When in doubt when it comes to meeting clients, it is probably safer to dress up rather than down.

Agree. I would not recommend wearing jeans to a business meeting unless you're involved in a creative industry.
