Watch a YouTube tutorial, buy the correct memory, do it yourself

It's as simple as plugging in a thumb drive

List your PC specs here. The people here will let you know what kind of ram to get. Then go Youtube watch how to install. It's as simple as ABC.

I agree on this method if you don't know how to do it. You just need to ensure you buy the correct ram. Just check what ram are you using, i.e. DDR3 or DDR4, and if it is using desktop or laptop ram.

Meaning currently is 4gb and you want to upgrade to 8gb ?

Open your desktop, see how many sticks of ram there. Take a picture and post it here.

$100 for 4GB is too expensive.

Try some of the advice from people here, it's very easy especially for desktop.

Try Nigel at SLS 02-32 PC CARE & Solution?

Dunno if you rather lug your desktop around or learn to DIY. If you're only adding 4GB, possible that the labour cost will cost as much as the part, if not more. Probably why your challenger quote was $100. As the other posts have suggested, it's not a difficult task, just need to get the specs right, do some basic research, youtube etc to learn how to do it.

Lol? PC speed depend on CPU and GPU more isn't it?. Ram only helps when you are running low.
