The LG Gram should be available at all major retailers from mid-August onwards.

Now that LG is bringing in their laptops 2 SG, will Samsung follow suit? Their notebook 9 seems a direct competitor

In Seoul I compare Samsung and LG side by side , LG is certainly better , win by at least 2 horse head

Not sure how many of you have seen the actual unit , I saw it in Seoul and was deeply impressed. The screen is just unbelievably clear and workmanship is first class.

I thought it is ok since it is not touch screen.

It is alright, but being more flexible I would say that one should handle it with more care since it might over flex i.e. cases where you have a loaded laptop backpack with lots of other stuffs.

In mechanics it's called going past it's elastic limit, leading to permanent deformation or in short it is deformed.

If the notebook is closed, it the screen will rest flat against the keyboard (no room to flex) and it should still be ok even if you put it in a bag with lots of other stuffs. I have the 840g 13 inch Samsung Notebook 9 that the screen also flexes, but so far no issue carrying it.
