Refer to the chart below and make your own summing up to see what are the interests you can achieve for each account by meeting the requirements. read up further on the individual threads for the saving accounts

If not doing investment you can ignore SCB Bonussaver and ocbc 360.

UOB ONE is misleading on your chart.

Should be
- Credit your salary OR Pay 3 bills monthly via GIRO.

Since you are sharing an account with your spouse, both of you need to decide if you are willing to jump through hoops (min. credit card spend, compulsory salary credit etc) to maximise the interest earned. Do you also need the flexibility to withdraw cash easily (at the 3 big banks' ATMs)?

My wife and I are using OCBC's Frank account because it is no-strings-attached with easy ATM access from OCBC and UOB ATMs.

UOB one is pretty good, actually.

Once you hit the 50k cap, can consider moving to OCBC360 or Citi Maxigains.

Then again, why not 2 separate UOB One Accounts then?

most of the accounts listed here requires salary crediting to hit the interest rate. if you don't do salary credit or make payments... the interest is quite low.

can consider using posb everyday joint. set up dbs multipliers for both joint account holders to benefit from accumulated salary crediting.

Hi, in layman term..

Means i can walk-in to any DBS bank to setup a POSB Everyday Joint Saving Account with my wife, then from there also setup a DBS Multiplier with initial deposit of 3K for the DBS Muliplier at the same time?
