Which bank to deposit foreign cheque?

I have a USD foreign cheque which need to be cleared in US, may I know which local bank should I deposit to minimize handling fees?

I have a £4 cheque and DBS rejected it. Where else can I deposit it?

i don't think u can.. the clearing fees alone cost 10-20 $ +++
