1st is superclocked wif their own acx cooler..

2nd is superclocked w/o the acx cooler, meaning it is using ref cooler.

Cooling wise, i think the acx is better.. the ref cooler isnt the same as the titan cooler found on 770/780/780ti/titan.

3 years.. and send back to taiwan.. Only for EVGA. So, it is cheaper than sending back to US.

Yes... you buy anything frm amazon and wanna RMA, ownself cough up shipping fees. Only exception is Intel which has INTERNATIONAL warranty.

Not only cost savings, distro nvr bring in the ACX ver.. Only the 2nd option you listed. Also, in the event they dun have stock for 1-for-1 or spare parts, they still have to ask EVGA for it and it may take weeks or close to a mth to get it fixed. By sending back to EVGA directly, you can be assured it will be fixed quickly..

But, you have to figure out how to ship back to you.

I understand that min fan speed is 43% of max which is a bit high when it is at idle as the cooler is very thermal efficient.

Can't use msi after burner to set fan profile? Think evaluation has their own oc programme as well.
