It's invalid if asset division only focuses on the good stuff. Wife cheat, wife is also awarded husband's money with no regards to how wife's action causes distress to the husband. Why is she also entitled to it? Her cheating enables the husband to focus in making more money? Times have changed but mindset can't keep up that's why law governing marriage becomes outdated.
