Which GPU for 1440p 144hz?

I did some research and seems like either 2070S or 5700XT are the good choices for 1440p 144hz med-high settings on games like apex.

What kind of prices should I look at for 2070S or 5700XT?

Should I even consider used GTX 1080Ti? If so, at what price?

I'm would go for 5700xt given the cheaper price. only thing stopping me the colour options. there is no white!

Between 2070s and the 5700xt, the 5700xt definitely is the more worthy one. Even though the 2070s outperforms in some games, but might not be worth the extra cash.

However, the 5700xt has pretty bad thermals, even third party coolers have problems keeping it cool.

Plus the lack of drivers or bad drivers from amd made me stay away from and cards
