If only DOTA2 and MOBA games, GTX970 is enough and still enough to laugh at it.

You can run DotA 2 smoothly on 1440p with a GTX 750. (And this is with a G3220 dual core.)

Sometimes game performance benchmark results offered by review sites cannot be directly represented as the direct ideal just nice graphics card requirement for games cos some of the scenes they tested are still not what gamers encounter. Sometimes there are scenes where massive spells are being casted, resulting in heavier graphical demands than usual. So a +20% headroom for recommendation is often better, in the case where buyers want strictly good frame rates (>40 fps) for all scenes.

R9-280/GTX 760 is a more prudent choice for 1440p IMO with current pricing. R9-270/270X just not worth to hoot these days.

Get the zotac 750ti from lazada. $169.5 with monday master card discount.

Run dota2 1440p everything max.

btw DOTA 2 reborn using source engine 2 has vulkan support.....
