Anybody can give opinion whether asus expedition rx570 4gb for $200 is worth it?
How does it compare to the other rx570 cards?

Or should i top up to $289 for a sapphire pulse rx580 8gb or $300 for asus dual rx580 8gb? Or got any other better deals?

Main use is for 1080p gaming like battlefield 1, assassin creed, far cry

see whether you can stomach paying ~45% more for ~10% higher perf (rx570 -> rx580, along with +4gb vram and +250mhz memory clock)

What concern me is the 4gb vram
Many ppl say 4gb not enuff, but im only using 1080p so 4gb should be ok right?

as long as you keep to reasonable settings, it should be fine bah

i let bf5 auto'd to high and vram usage is reported to be around 3.2gb at dx12/1920x1080 borderless

VRAM is like car size

Motorbikes are cheap and fast, because they are engines on wheels.

But try picking up chicks in one.

Even if you are on Mobike you are still able to pick up a chick. The seller will put the chick in a plastic bag and you can carry it or hang it somewhere.

So i do not see your try picking up chicks when riding a motor bike an issue.

You should buy the RX580 8GB if you have the budget to allow more headroom for the games that you are playing.

The Asus Dual RX580 OC Edition 8GB is going for $289 at Qoo10 now. Left 2 pcs as of now. Link: https://www.qoo10.sg/item/ASUS-AMD-PROMO-48-OFF-ASUS-DUAL-RX580-OC-EDITION-8GB-GDDR5-ESPORTS/615383869?selectedOptions=

Battlefield 1 performance comparison for RX570 & RX580 in the video below:

Wow rx570 performance seems much better than i thought it would be
I think i going hoot

Take note that this was tested on an i7-7700K, you have to minus off some FPS if you are using a slower CPU.

What is a decent cpu to pair with rx570?
Im thinking from 2200g or 1400 or 1600 or 2600
Especially 2200g as the price saving is quite huge

Dunnid too high performance as long dont bottleneck the gpu and can play 1080p decently

If you're getting an APU, then there is no point in getting a discrete GPU:s22:. You should go for higher frequency rams as it will improve the performance of your integrated graphics on the APU. Anyway, I'm intending to sell my ASUS Dual-RX580-O8G that was bought on 11/11 but only just installed a few days ago on 20th Nov as I was waiting for my replacement motherboard to arrive from overseas. If you want, I can sell you cheaper than the current price on Qoo10. No games code though because I've already claimed it on my AMD account. Reason for selling is because bottle-necked by previous generation A10-7850k APU and I've already lost interest in the only game that I was playing before my computer went down. PM me if you are interested.

2200g is fine with rx570 for games that doesnt put a full load on the cpu bah (even then, it's still a 50/50 whether it's a cpu, gpu or full system bottleneck)

if you can up your budget to r5-2600/x or its intel equivalent (i5 8400) then go for it

looking far into the future, that cpu might be an issue once you have a gpu in the 2080ti performance bracket (something something pcie bottleneck)

Provided you really like Vega 64 and got research how to tweak the best performance out of it, then go ahead.

If you get the Vega 64, you need to pair it with at least a Ryzen 5 2600 / i5-8400 or better CPU.

Also take note, you have to be ok with no warranty for the Vega 64.
