Which graphics card for VR porn?

I host a swinger club at my apartment and I'm planning a VR-themed party and need to get the GPUs to support the headsets.

It's important that the frame rate at least looks like the real thing. There's a lot of reviews out there on GPUs for VR gaming but I was wondering if there's any field reports of GPUs for porn? What's the cheapest card that you guys recommend for this?

OK thanks that's very helpful, I was thinking of a cheaper card but glad I asked.

I'll need 10x cards, does anyone know if there's a purchase limit in SLS?

Perhaps you wanna ask the distributor for bulk order since you're ordering 10 units. Based on availability also. Cheap one like Zotac Mini, stock very low now, so 10 units may not be as easy to secure like those more expensive models like MSI Gaming X.

If you want best experience, gtx 1070 and above is really good.

For casual, gtx 1060 is enough and can save you a lot on budget.

Thanks so much, you've been most helpful. Budget is less of an issue, it's more that it's a one-off project so I didn't want to pay for no perceivable improvement in quality. I'll look up the distributors.

Another tip to minimize cost, what I learned from Nvidia event is that you can lend system with certain specs. During the Nvidia gtx 1080 ti launch event, 4 brands representative with their showcase pc with the gtx 1080 ti is setup for showcase.

If your event is well organized and won't have risk of spoiling the pc in any regards, you can "rent" these showcase pc from distributor/shops. For now, what I remember is Corbell and Aftershock got such pc to "rent". Don't quote me for this. Check with the respective distributor/shop to have the best confirmation on renting their show piece. Since you're running a vr event, I think you can request a certain gpu sku as it's easy to replace.

TS why not build one unit first and test for comfort? Once satisfied can carry on with the remaining units or can make changes if not happy, at least won't regret later on

Generally I recommend you to maintain as many online profiles as possible, be polite and respectful if people reach out to you, attend events; if you're not a girl it helps to have a friend whom you can bring along to events.

Just looking off spec list I guess the general idea is intel i5 (or AMR equivalent R5 1500?), 8gb ram and a pretty decent graphics card (I guess should be GTX1060 or RX580)

i guess, ultimately, the headset will cost quite a substantial for each setup. Have fun with watching the videos. :s13:

Honestly, how is it like having a bunch of people sitting / standing around with vr headsets? I wonder how the placement of the stuff will be like.
