Hi all

I recently encountered a problem. While gaming halfway, my monitor will either suddenly have a white screen and hang there or my monitor will suddenly says no signal detected.

This only happens while gaming and not surfing net or watch netflix.

In the past no such issue while gaming same game.

I have done the following,

1) Updated my GPU to the latest driver
2) Updated my Windows to the latest driver
3) check to ensure my cable are alright
4) Ram checked all working properly
5) temperature seem to be ok based on task manager 50degree and below

My GPU is a RTX 2070 Super and PSU is a 750W Gold unit

Could this be a aging GPU and PSU problem or other hardware?

Suggest you try a GPU stress test like Port Royal or Time Spy.

suspect is gpu issue, used to have a really old card (r9 280x) that did something similar. once I put a frame cap the symptom went away. can follow koenig's advice and stress the gpu, and lower core/memory clocks until stable.

When it happens, go check the event viewer. See if it generates any error logs. If there is, then you know it's not the monitor already.
