Lol, actually the poll results quite close one.
After yesterday night's specs release the 5.5 shoot up.
Guess the better specs on the 5.5 is a major turn on for most people.

Coming from Note 3, definitely going for 5.5inch, it's lightest for 5.5inch smartphones. Even my S4 screen is too small for me at 5inch, iPhone 6 sure cmi for me.

But the downside is I'll have to miss replaceable battery on my Note 3 haha, charge iPhone 6 plus over the night and bring heavy portable charger instead of 1 extra battery, also might miss the S Pen for occasionally drawing :) :) :)

172 grams for a 5.5inch isn't the lightest. :O G3 still has the crown for screen size:weight ratio. :D

No doubt, 4.7" is good enough. Never like phone more than 5"

Once again, I think apple made a good call by coming out with 4.7"

May I know what is the better specs from 5.5? the only thing I see difference is it very much more heavier. The better in resolution is insignficant to me.

If have iPad Air, then iPhone 6 is good becoz later can just get the new iPad to pair

Currently iPad2 and iPhone5 so will get iPhone6+ becoz find iPad2 too heavy to carry around

Looks like more people prefer the 5.5.
Personally, as a guy, I would prefer the 4.7 as it will be less likely that it will appear as a huge brick (or something worse, haha!) in my jeans or pants side pocket... Want to sit down also damn uncomfortable.
Yes the 5.5 screen is nice and big and resolution is 1080p as opposed to the 4.7's 720p, but unless you are a woman with a handbag or a guy who goes around everywhere with a "murse" or slingbag, it's bloody troublesome.
In fact, I still think the iPhone 5s has the coolest form factor, but seems like that 4inch screen will be obsolete by next year.

Guys usually move about light or hands free. So a smaller phone will be easier. Best is tt u can manage with one hand

And now Apple finds itself in the same situation as Android: fragmentation, although less severe than the latter.

Even more so if the rumor for 12" iPad turns out to be true. Not sure how the developer communities are going to respond to this.

Er.. Fragmentation refers to the different version of Android leh.. Reason being some of the manufacturers don't allow OS upgrade.

In Apple, we are already very used to device fragmentation but thankfully each iOS u pgrade still cater to a lot of old iPhones and iPads.

Please don't be mistaken because the fragmentation doesn't affect the developers much. They only need to develop for either iPhone or iPad. At the moment they just need to cater increasing the size to 3 times more to suit the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Probably taking 5.5"!! But very dilemma still hahaha

Same predicament as you.
I'm currently on a 5S and Mini2. Thinking of going 5.5 then 5S and mini can retire and keep inside cupboard liao.

But I'm afraid it might be too big and won't like it in the future. Esp concerned with keeping it in pockets etc. I normally keep my phones in my back pocket but idk.

iPhone 6 for me. I take it the 6 plus doesn't exist lol...

Coming from a pure iPhone user... Jumping to the 5.5 would probably have some regret later... Especially since got a mini for larger screen use...

5.5 is for the Samsung note user market. And these people are all about the specs.
