Not all models have physical dual SIMs. For example, the A2101 iPhone XS Max sold in Singapore will not come with that function, while the A2104 intended for the China market will carry it.

Go HK buy isn't an issue but when comes to warranty not sure whether local able to find any replacement phone for it.
If you bring it in to SG for warranty repairs, they might not have an A2104 replacement unit. Sometimes they will give you A2101 with your consent, sometimes they will just reject your repair order so you have to go Hong Kong to try.

I hold iPhone 4s. 5s. 6s and now 7. Only 5s need 1-1 exchange with singtel. The rest working fine.

You can try :o My family member wanna exchange HK iPhone 6s+ in SG before, was warned that it won’t be HK/CN set. End up she took back a new SingTel iPhone 7+ set and send faulty 6s+ set for repair in HK (display coloration under AppleCare). So far so good.
