My 7-8 year old X-trac is getting a little thing, can feel my palms ache a bit after prolonged gaming as I think the cushion is wearing a little thin. Any recommendation for a M-L sized gaming pad? Between Razer and Steelseries ones, which one is better in terms of comfort and durability? Thanks

That's not a mousepad...that's considered a mousemat (a.k.a extended mousepad).

LOL I don't need those huge types, a mid-large one enough to rest my forearm/wrist and the mouse to move around would be sufficient. Only need something with enough cushon/padding

Thanks. I've quite used to cloth pads, never tried plastic... does it cause your forearms to get sweaty after prolonged use?

depends on the individual i think .....i dont feel sweat coz my room is air condition :s13:

LOL good point.. I don't turn on the a/c all the time so maybe I'll stick to the cloth mats, as I can just throw into the washing machine every now and then :s13:

If you want smth fast, can try the hard mats from Razer. Destructor 2 maybe? If it's still available that is.

Offer is over already, but the Trezo app had the Roccat Taito King Size (MTW edition) for $5.90 - buy on app, collect at IT show. Quite a steal for the price, lol. I've been using one for months, the width is about the same as my keyboard. Serves as a wrist pad + mousepad. Haha. 3mm thickness quite comfy, thickest out of the mousepads I've used before.
