well that means your hdd is gonna die soon (mentioned symptoms is very clear on it status)

and right now u got 3 hdd player in the market and last player will be WD, and i think u can consider getting their Black series.

as for toshiba OTW means?

My current Toshiba is complicated.
It works 90% of the time.
Yst night I heard the clicky sound and it fails to appear as my diskdrive but this morning, it is working like a charm
TBH I am considering Toshiba X300 perhaps a 6TB, WD black seems to be substantially more expensive while at the same time also looking at WD ultrastar

3TB HDDs have quite a high failure rate IIRC from Backblaze's previous reports. Suggest you get 4TB instead.

Seagate Barracuda or Ironwolf or WD Blue, any of these should be fine.

Was considering WD blue as well but it Toshiba X300 seems to have a faster RPM and is cheaper

I ordered from aftershock m.2 nvme 512gb Samsung ssd R: 3500 | W: 2900. For the same price i can have m.2 nvme klevv 1tb R: 2600 | W: 1650.

I already have a less than half filled 1tb ssd (sata) which i will use for data storage. I use this pc for photoshop, indesign, illustrator, premiere Pro, 3d games, ms office and surf net. OS and Adobe scratch disk will likely use the new m.2 nvme ssd.

Which ssd between the 2 should i get?

May I suggest getting the 1TB from Lazada during 11.11 or else Amazon has quite a good price if you are not concern about the 5 yrs warranty.
My SSD from Amazon has been with me since 2015, 2 more weeks to mark our 5th yr anniversary.
