Currently have this:

Jonsbo V3+
Thermaltake SE 530 Watt
02 pcs of KVR1600/8G
Palit GTX650Ti OC Boost
Crucial CT240M500SSD1

which MB+CPU bundle should I go for?

MSI H87I-ITX + i3 4130 = $318
Asus H87I Plus ITX + i3 4130 = $302

MSI B75IA-E33 ITX + i5 3470 = $334
Asrock H77M ITX = i5 3470 = $340

Budget is $300 ~ $350

To be place at the living room and hooked up with 50" LED TV via HDMI.
For viewing Full Blu-ray MKV Files
Future gaming for all kids coming over the weekend.

Then the i3 setup will be a better choice.

If it is mainly a HTPC i would say that the i3 would pretty much suffice your needs. Might wanna consider an ivy i3.

But lets say if you wanna have more horsepower i suggest you taking the i5 ivy setup.

You might never know what kids plays these days.

Thanks Bro.
Meaning that Ivy i5 is way much faster than the newer Haswell i3 ?

all i3s are dual cores

there are some i5s that are dual core and some quad core.

so in general, i5 would perform better than i3s. even on single processor performance it would slightly perform better.

in SG they mainly bring in quad core for i5s so you can say that all i5s in SG are quad cores.

All these apply to Desktop CPUs

Some people recommend i3 for your setup as you don't really use a lot of CPU power thus no need for i5s quad cores
