INSEAD only has full time 10mths MBA. They only offer part-time EMBA that is much mor expensive and will require longer working experience.

USA allows CPT

Coursework can let coursemates to tank. :(

Hard to find job in US as foreigner unless company willing to sponsor work visa.

Or can opt for Imperial online MBA. :s12:

Depends on the field you wanna enter. MIM/MBA are generalist degrees with options to specialize. :o

MIM is like a biz top-up degree for non business related degree holders.

Been a while since i posted here. I am back with some goodies from the coy.

Finally i got my local role back which means less travel, i got clearance to get a coy sponsored MBA. And i am inducted into the Plant Management Team. I am encouraged by my peers n bosses to go for it since it is kinda free.

I recently took a look at Manchester Business School offering and SMU MBA. I never look at Insead cox i supposed it takes a very good result from bachelor degree to get in. Mine at this most is passable.

I like one that is interactive than those mundane tanking of books and lecture. Is there any other to intro? With good mix of Alumni, lecturers n all.

Thanks.

MBA doesn't place as much emphasis on bachelor degree compared to your work experience. They are looking for people with the potential to succeed. You stand a pretty good chance at INSEAD I think.

Here's why:
1) You are from a non-traditional field. They need diversity in the class so that not everyone is from finance/consulting.
2) They look for international experience. You have travelled to other countries for work which counts for a lot in their eyes.
3) You will return to your company upon graduation. This is great for INSEAD because they will not have to worry about you being unemployed after graduation (thereby affecting their career statistics).

I think you just need a decent enough GMAT score and also get some friends to review your application before you submit it.

I went through one with ESSEC. Seems liked they like my profile. Yeah on the experience i had and non traditional background. I am asked to proceed with another chat with someone in the school. Seems like they don't require GMAT, they value the experience and all.

INSEAD, the admissions director will speak with me next week. Let's see how it goes.

Likely to go with EMBA.

they decided we suck and went to HK instead

Went through the call and stuff. They encouraged me to put the application across.

The school itself at this stage is also fearful that students will drop out because of the virus; they will probably be favourable to most applicants in general because of this
