Is anyone doing or have done the Executive MBA programme from SP Jain? Any information about their course and the prgramme structure? It has specializations in marketing, finanace and operations.

Although, it has started in Singapore since 4-5 years, it has attracted quite a lot mid management executives from reputed companies. It is one of the best B schools in India and globally recognised too.

the one that writes the best for u is the most important
good schools will ask for 2 or 3 references and these are sealed (and you may not see what he/she writes)

so if you wanna ask senior people, make sure they know enough about you and your work to write an essay on you (the questions are structured that it flows like an essay)

SP Jain EMBA

I believe that SP jain caters more to the full time students - if u are exploring full time option INSEAD offers the best choice with their world ranking and career placement services. If u r looking @ part time program, u can consider UK or US universities , there are over 15 choices available.

Any idea hows the emba programme offered by sp jain?

Can you also list top 3 UK universities for emba for general/non-finance specialization?

:s13::s13:...maybe that's one skill taught to MBA grads. If they don't know something, they say something else they know.

he specifically asked for top 3 uk universities.... he never said anything about from singapore

apparently he and yourself have comprehension problems

Hi,

apologies if it was not clear enough. But most of the current discussion is centered around the options available in singapore, so my question was, out of those which uk universities have better emba programme for general/non-finance specialization?

Can u now give ur opnion?

UK MBA got quite a few in sg.

manchester, nottingham etc nothing to shout about though...

but specially UK EMBA, not that i know of locally.

i previously considered a few US EMBA though.. rutgers, pretty ok i guess? no comments about buffalo.

and european ones like helsinki was quite popular during my time. not sure if still offered locally.

i suspect the best bet for networking wise, locally would probably be the nus/ucla emba

some of my colleagues did their mba via distance learning.

a few of the better ones are imperial, thunderbird and warwick.

good luck though

UK - Europe MBA

Helsinki School of Economics - now rename as Aalto is one of the most established program in the region.

in the past, Henley , leicester was the better UK MBAs, now i believe Manchester is one of the better ones around. SPRING provides funding/grants for Manchester MBA.

The rest Birmingham, Bradford, Hull are tier 2 regardless of ranking.

Question why UK MBA and not australian / US ?

Cause not much HR/employer/people will know much about US degree.

For OZ, mostly as long as you are 25 year old with about 5 years of work experience & a Dip will allow you to take MBA courses which mean I am wasting my time & $ on Bach degree if I will to take up OZ MBA courses.

Do you have the link where spring provides funding?
I can only see they fund full-time MBA
