Now I am graduated with BENG MECH.I have three different paths to choose. Research and Development Design Engineer, Industrial/Production/Manufacturing Engineer and Field Service Engineer (Maintenance).
May I know which engineer pathway has future career growth with higher pays.
Please allow me to share my opinion first. R and D design Engineers are always sitting behind and drawing CAD and doing Simulations.
Manufacturing/Industrial/Production Engineers are the one processing the data from Design Engineers to produce high-end products for clients.
Field Service Engineers are the one doing a practical staffs but they will no longer be using what they have learnt in classroom like Solidworks and Ansys.
Now I am a fresh grad and think for my future. May I know what are your opinions and what pathway I should choose which will give better career progress.
