I took a look at both. With battery, Asus TUF M4 Wireless will be around 89g while Razer Death Adder V2 x hyperspeed is about 100g. Pretty heavy if you are looking for a lighter mouse.

Razer claims 235 hr on 1 battery while Asus claims 134 hours on AA battery with 2.4 Ghz. So battery wise, Razer seems to be better.

Also TUF is ambidextrous while Razer's only right-handed.

Both Asus and Razer have pretty bad reputation when it comes to peripherals though....

Whistle-blower, ex-Asus employee claims ASUS out of touch with current market.
While Razer stuff aren't built to last, a lot of complains from customers.

If I am forced to make a choice, go with Razer. Use an AAA battery to bring weight down to 85g. Last as long as Asus's mice on AA battery and similar weight.

My experience with razer their wireless mouse never last, double clicked issue after a year or so.

Asus new Harpe Ace aimlab mouse actually quite light and performance solid, longevity unknown as still new.

My office mouse is a razer atheris. Workhouse. Drop, throw on the floor and still work without issue. Over 3 yrs liao. I am using a Basilisk V3 now at home. I have fully migrated from logitech over to razer. No regrets and totally happy with razer mouse.

I never have any issue with razer mouse, the last one kept me for at least 5 years and still working but it was too heavy for today standard and replace it with Viper V2 Pro and never go back. Once you go light, you will never go back.

infact i have issue with logitech mouse with their left/right double click issue instead

It was the mamba wireless 5 years ago for double click issue. Then I got the viper mini and viper 8k both have issue to recognized by my system during boot up and need to unplug and replug for the system to detect the mice, I have updated the firmware as well but still can't resolved the drop issue.

The 2 razer viper mice I used never longer than a year for now because of the USB port recognition issue with my 5900x system.

I agreed Logitech budget gaming mouse never last but the Logitech Pro last me quite well.

For now I am more using the Asus Hapre Ace which I really like it for it's light weight and precision aim.

Even logitech is also now switching over to optical ones starting with the G502X. They call theirs "lighforce" switches which supposedly is a combination of both optical and mechnical.
